By North Bend Theatre co-owner Beth Burrows’ estimation, mountain-focused programming has been indivisible from the venue’s identity for something to the tune of 15 years. The ongoing custom continues this month at the beloved Eastside theater with the April 28–30 run of the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival.

Since December 2022, the latest iteration of the far-reaching festival, which annually highlights short films immersing viewers in different facets of mountain culture and the outdoors, has been touring internationally.
