Brittany Danielle can pinpoint the moment when the seeds of what soon became the Cascade Music Alliance first took root: while she was having an aptly timed meltdown one recent summer at the Summer Meltdown Festival.
“Post-COVID, a lot of things shut down and either didn’t reopen or seemed to have trouble reopening in the music world,” the local musician told South Sound recently. “I was crying (at Summer Meltdown) about that lack of community. I was like, ‘I just miss my friends. I miss my community.’”
